Job Description

As aSecurity Guard - Armed Patrol Driver LogisticsinDeer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics&Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents while providing a strong and approachable presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with staff and visitors, offering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, hazardous situations, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner while enforcing site access control procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrol activities, and any security-related matters encountered during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
