Director, Cyber Security Operations

Position Overview

As a Director, IS Security, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security operations, policies, procedures, and audit programs. This role involves managing security-related applications, processes, and procedures, and communicating company policies on information security. You will oversee a team of offshore and onshore security personnel to maintain a comprehensive information security program that includes physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect C&S systems and data (both on-premise and cloud) from unauthorized access or damage. Collaboration across infrastructure, business, and application teams is essential to ensure controls are in place and monitored. Additionally, you will manage Oracle EBS Security, Oracle OCI security, Google Cloud Platform security, and network/system security.

Description

1. Manage onshore and offshore security teams, including delegating work, performance reviews, and staff development.
2. Oversee installation of security applications, processes, procedures, and equipment, ensuring compliance with standards like NIST CSF, NIST SP:800-53, ISO 27001.
3. Ensure the security of C&S endpoints through compliance, upgrades, and patches.
4. Develop security initiatives to increase awareness and reduce risks, working with operational teams and stakeholders.
5. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and maintain documentation.
6. Maintain GRC and other security systems, ensuring audit compliance and recommending best practices.
7. Coordinate with process teams, auditors, and business units to ensure alignment and compliance.
8. Lead security projects, managing resources and deliverables, and ensure third-party controls align with company standards.
9. Travel as required.

Environment

• Office environment with temperature maintained between 65F to 75F.

Skills

• Experience and industry-recognized certifications preferred; experience managing onshore and offshore teams.
• Strong collaboration, leadership, and knowledge of security operations, governance, risk, and compliance controls.

Years Of Experience

• 10-15 years of hands-on experience in information security management.
• 5-7 years in project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or related field.
• Certifications such as CISM or CISSP preferred.
