Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - No Experience Required

The Cath Lab Technician position is responsible for assisting physicians in the Cath lab as part of a team that performs both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. The role requires proficiency in all aspects of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures and operates with little to no supervision. The position involves working four ten-hour shifts with variable days and includes an on-call requirement for 10-12 days in a five-week period.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in the Cath lab
• Maintain proficiency in all aspects of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure efficient operation of the Cath lab
• Respond to on-call requirements within a 30-minute response time
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the Cath lab
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures
• Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments used in cardiac procedures
• Educate patients about the procedures and answer any questions they may have
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately

Requirements

• Advanced Life Support Certification (ALS)
• Associate's Degree
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to undergo a background check
