Job Description:

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, TX for a short-term contract opportunity supporting a high-volume AP environment. Candidates with Oracle Cloud or Oracle Fusion experience are strongly preferred, and exposure to APEX is a plus.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced workflows and have strong data entry accuracy processing large volumes of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices (100+ per day target)
• Enter and code invoices within Oracle Cloud/Fusion
• Execute payments via ACH, wire transfers, and manual checks
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries
• Review employee expense reports
• Support recurring payments and AP reporting
• Assist with outstanding transactions requiring research and follow-up

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong invoice processing and coding experience
• Experience with Oracle (Cloud or Fusion preferred)
• High-volume data entry experience (100-200 invoices/day preferred)
• Exposure to APEX or similar systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily processing goals
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Work Details:

• Location: Houston, TX (100% on-site)
• Schedule: Flexible start between 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Duration: 2-3 month contract, potential to extend
• Pay: $26-$29/hour

Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
