A growing Houston-based law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a firm in major growth mode, with multiple additions planned across the legal staff and attorney teams. The firm is looking to move quickly and hire the right candidate as soon as possible.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 DOE
• Free on-site parking
• Business casual work environment
• Hybrid schedule available after 60 days (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

About the Role

This position will support attorneys in all phases of litigation and handle a variety of general paralegal duties for state and federal court matters. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys through all stages of litigation
• Draft, prepare, and review legal documents
• Manage case files and maintain litigation deadlines
• Coordinate and respond to discovery requests
• Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and court filings
• File documents in both state and federal courts
• Assist with trial preparation and case management

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Insurance defense experience required
• Trucking litigation or personal injury defense experience preferred
• Experience with state and federal court procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure

Work Environment

• Located in Houston, TX
• 100% on-site during the first 60 days
• Transition to a 4:1 hybrid schedule after onboarding
