Pay: $10/hr

The Spirit of the Position:

A LAZ Traffic Director plays a significant role in the success of the company. You will keep the internal lot intersections of obstruction, as well as manage traffic entering/exiting the lot. This position will be tasked with keeping traffic flowing with minimal backup in individual lanes.

Responsibilities:

  • Reliable and punctual attendance is paramount.
  • Welcome each client and guest with a warm smile.
  • Courteously assist customers by answering questions they might have.
  • Follow protocols to help slow/stop traffic of all vehicles entering and exiting parking lot.
  • Help manage traffic flow to avoid any delays and heavy backups.
  • Direct incoming vehicles to available parking slots.
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance task as directed by supervisors.
  • Report any unknown accidents, observed or suspected violations of policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the management team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
  • Must have a neat appearance and be well-groomed.
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Able to follow the LAZ way & Values.

Skills:

  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
  • Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior customer service skills desired.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and otherwise manipulate objects of at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
