IT RESOURCE MANAGER - SAP Basis / Security

The IT Resource (SAP) Manager develops strategies and designs complex system technology solutions for business enablement. The incumbent is responsible for business transformation through the design and documentation of solution architecture standards and procedures, providing leadership in solving complex business technology problems. The position leads ITD efforts in selecting tools, software, hardware, and communication interfaces, conducting technical reviews and analyses to define requirements and solution options. It also involves assisting ITD leadership, Business Technology Consultants, and project teams in developing strategic solution roadmaps and technical implementation plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and direction for the design, development, and support of IT solutions.
2. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
3. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve tier 3 issues escalated by ITD support teams.
4. Communicate with IT management and business units to optimize technology utilization where multiple solutions exist.
5. Analyze and design highly complex technology solutions collaboratively.
6. Work closely with technology consultants and business units to align IT strategy with business needs.
7. Review project and enhancement requests for alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
8. Lead and participate in technology and code review sessions.
9. Conduct research and recommend new technology adoption.
10. Develop solution roadmaps and technical implementation plans for major systems and integrations.
11. Maintain and update governance policies, standards, procedures, and documentation for data governance and solutions design.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in at least one SAP domain such as ABAP, OData, Workflow, SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, FIORI, etc.
• Possession of an industry-recognized SAP Technical Certification is preferred but not required.

Additional skills and attributes include extensive knowledge of systems analysis, program design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and the ability to work independently on complex assignments, gather and translate requirements, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Project management experience is preferred.
