Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician for a company based in Southwest Houston, Texas. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on all equipment to insure productivity.
Pay Rate
$17.00 - $19.00 an hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintaining equipment/machines and keeping aware when equipment/machines need attention
• Responsible for daily checks on equipment that is consistently in operation
• Maintenance on machines as necessary
• Observe necessary safety precautions
• Crosstrain on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years' experience
• Ability to work the designated schedule inclusive of overtime
• Work independently
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions – heat, cold, rain
• Work involves long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching; may also include climbing ladders and staircases
