Position Overview

As a Director, IS Security, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security operations, compliance policies, procedures, and audit programs. This role involves managing security applications, processes, and procedures, and communicating company policies related to information security. You will oversee a team of offshore and onshore security personnel to maintain a comprehensive information security program, including physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect C&S systems and data (both on-premise and cloud).

You will collaborate across infrastructure, business, and application teams to ensure controls are in place and monitored, and that team members are trained to support security needs. Additionally, you will manage Oracle EBS Security, supporting design and implementation of security systems, Oracle OCI, Google Cloud Platform security, and network/system security.

Responsibilities

• Manage onshore and offshore security teams, including work delegation, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Oversee installation of security applications, processes, and equipment, ensuring compliance with standards like NIST CSF, NIST SP:800-53, ISO 27001.
• Ensure the security of C&S endpoints, deploying upgrades and patches.
• Develop security initiatives to increase awareness and reduce risk, partnering with operational teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and maintain documentation.
• Maintain GRC and other security systems, ensuring audit compliance and recommending best practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align security projects and controls, including third-party providers.
• Travel as required.

Environment

• Office environment with temperature control (65F to 75F).

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience managing security teams, industry certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and knowledge of security controls, governance, risk, and compliance.
• 10-15 years hands-on security management experience.
• 5-7 years project management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or related field; certifications like CISM, CISSP preferred.
