Job Purpose
Responsible for operations of the Distribution Center and the supervision of all Distribution Center employees.

Responsibilities
Our General Manager will lead a staff of customer care members and warehouse team members and oversees responsibilities that include several key areas of our business:

  • Customer Service – managing a staff of Customer Care Representatives.
  • Vendor Relations – maintaining positive relationships with customers and logistics vendors.
  • General Operations – Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, HR, Facilities, and Warehousing.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Overall client service, financial and operational responsibility
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage inventory levels in accordance with sales demand
  • Monitor warehouse team to include all inventory movement in and out of facility
  • Responsible for accuracy of weekly product cycle counts
  • Train, coach, develop, and encourage local customer care team
  • Evaluate/oversee all local vendor relationships for overall best value
  • Work with local sales team to create best possible customer experience
  • Some Human Resources responsibilities

  • Sales oriented, with a customer-driven mindset
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all financial and operational management aspects of a multimillion-dollar business
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military experience.
