Accountant/Financial Analyst

Our esteemed legal client is seeking a dedicated Accountant/Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Houston!

Responsibilities:

• Analyze historical financial performance data to aid in forecasting and budgeting.
• Perform basic financial modeling.
• Identify cost trends and suggest actionable solutions.
• Assist in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), both financial and operational.
• Investigate financial variances and provide detailed explanations.
• Prepare necessary reports for banks and business partners.
• Handle accounting and budgeting for various entities.
• Collaborate with external accountants to resolve issues.
• Undertake various ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting.
• MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to utilize multiple software systems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage project deadlines under time pressure.
• Capacity to handle and protect confidential documents.
