We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with deep expertise in energy commodity markets, risk management, hedging systems, and corporate development. The CFO will be integral in guiding financial strategy, overseeing commodity trading operations, and executing M&A transactions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is pivotal for our strategic growth in the commodity trading and physical asset space.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the chief strategist for financial risk management, overseeing the management of commodity trading risk including physical and financial trading positions, hedging programs, value-at-risk (VaR) reporting, and position reconciliation.
Lead corporate finance activities including cash management, liquidity planning, working capital optimization, financing structuring, and treasury operations.
Direct financial analysis and reporting teams to ensure precise, compliant financial statements, robust internal controls, and comprehensive management reporting.
Oversee all financial audits, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and execution of audited financial statements.
Drive the organization's strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, setting clear KPIs for commodity trading, logistics, and financial performance.
Serve as primary liaison with banks, credit insurers, and corporate insurers, managing risk profiles, credit limits, and maintaining optimal financial leverage.
Lead financial due diligence, valuation analyses, and strategic integration planning for acquisitions within the commodity and physical asset sectors.
Ensure ERP systems effectively support real-time risk management, operational logistics, and comprehensive financial reporting.
Supervise the Vice President of Finance responsible for Commercial Brands, delegating and overseeing financial strategy in the consumer packaged goods division.
Mentor and develop the broader finance team, ensuring alignment, accountability, and continuous performance improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA highly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of senior finance experience, with substantial expertise in commodity trading, energy markets, and physical asset management.
Demonstrated proficiency with commodity hedging strategies, risk management tools, and VaR analytics.
Proven track record in corporate finance, cash flow management, and treasury operations within commodity-intensive organizations.
Significant experience leading financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic asset integrations.
Deep knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) tailored for commodity trading and logistics businesses.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities with precise attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
