Per Se Group is working with a leading international industrial machinery repair company seeking a Finance Manager in Houston to lead the finance team overseeing the commercial operations and reporting of the service businesses. The successful candidate can support and lead a four-person financial team, provide the day-to-day directives and priorities as well as provide operational support and financial management, financial reporting, and financial perspectives on business performance. Will be responsible for financial reporting, payroll, A/P and A/R performance, bank reconciliation, and GL data entry to ensure invoicing and reporting are in accordance with established financial control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review/Pay Accounts Payable Invoices
- ADP Entry - Payroll Submission, and Subcon Payments
- Payroll ADP Posting / Taxes in Peachtree
- Invoicing of all departments
- 401K Reporting
- Insurance-Health-Dental Reconciliation
- Signal Monthly Report and Insurance Schedules
- Bank Reconciliation
- Job - Payroll – Vendor Expense Accruals
- Review of Job Profits
- Work In Progress “WiP” -Calculation-Peachtree Posting
- Review of Department P&L's looking for inconsistencies
- Review of P&L & Balance Sheet Accounts
- GWW Template Completion
- Prophix Report
- Agent Sales Template Report
- Marcas, BSM and other key contract reporting
- Depreciation Schedule
Qualifications or Skills
- 3-5 years' experience in similar role and position, with service industry
- Associates degree or higher in Accounting or Financial management, Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Familiar with Peachtree Financial software or Sage 50 versions or related
Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
