The Finance/Reporting Manager will serve as a critical member of the financial reporting and controls team for a high-growth reinsurance platform backed by one of the world's largest alternative asset managers. This hands-on role offers end-to-end visibility across GAAP and statutory reporting, SOX compliance, board-level financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Headquartered across multiple jurisdictions—including Bermuda and the Cayman Islands—the platform offers capital solutions to insurance companies. It operates at the intersection of insurance, reinsurance, and asset management, providing employees with technical exposure and commercial impact.

The title can be flexible, ranging from senior to manager, as there are multiple positions open. This title reflects roles typically seen in Bermuda, though the scope is broader.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support US GAAP financial reporting for reinsurance entities
• Assist with statutory reporting and compliance in Bermuda and Cayman
• Contribute to SOX compliance in partnership with internal audit
• Support board reporting, group analysis, and ad hoc presentations
• Improve financial processes, controls, and tools as the platform scales
• Collaborate with external auditors, offshore teams, and senior management

Who they're looking for

• CPA or on track to obtain it
• 3–7 years of experience in public accounting or a mix of public/private
• Open to backgrounds outside insurance—such as broader Financial Services, Oil & Gas, TMT, or Wealth & Asset Management
