Description
Under minimal supervision, analyzes rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investment, and financial and expense performance comparisons.
- Coordinates preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Analyzes financial accounting and performance data and summary reports.
- Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis for management.
- Assists with audits by providing requested information.
- Reviews procedures for compliance with regulations.
- Maintains financial reporting systems and provides assistance.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical, or professional discipline, usually obtained through a 4-year degree and at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
Additional Information
The candidate will work in the UH Office of Technology Transfer and Innovation, reporting to the AVP of IP and Industrial Engagement, and interfacing with the Division Business Administrator.
Requirements
- Responsibility for license contract compliance.
- Attention to detail in financial and compliance matters.
- Excellent communication and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in a technology transfer office and with ERP/CRM systems like PeopleSoft and Salesforce is preferred.
