Department: Scholarships & Financial Aid Salary: $49,400.00 - $56,200.00
Description
Manages the day-to-day operations of a large university program or department, including the supervision of staff employees, student workers, programs or processes.
- Plans and develops procedures for administering a large or complex department or program.
- Manages fiscal activities, including procurement and budget analysis.
- Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.
- Prepares abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation.
- Creates and reviews reports of expenditures and activities.
- May administer grants and grant-related related communications, scholarships and other operations.
- Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies and procedures.
- May serve as property custodian for the department.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Must be a multi-tasker, extremely organized, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- NASFAA Certified Financial Aid Administrator
- NASFAA Credentials
- Assist the Associate Director for Advising in managing Scholarships & Financial Aid (SFA) team members for advising students and their family members.
- Primary oversight for the SFA Contact Center
- Coordinate staff training on customer service and scholarship & financial aid topics
- Supervise Contact Center Staff, Financial Aid Advisors and SFA Work Study Students
- Represent SFA office at outreach events
- Review SFA communications to students, family members and external partners.
- Monitor SFA emails, calls, chats and student inquiries for accuracy and timely responses.
