Our client, a leading global company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team in West Houston. This is a high-impact role with extensive project involvement and cross-functional collaboration. The selected candidate will support senior leadership by developing complex financial reports and dashboards that drive business insights and improve operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, reports, and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Operations, Accounting, and Finance to support business initiatives.
- Present findings and actionable insights to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Participate in strategic projects aimed at increasing efficiency and optimizing performance.
- Ensure financial data accuracy and a sound understanding of debits and credits in reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst in an industry environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Power BI required.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits and credits).
