About the role

As a Sr. financial analyst, Sr. Financial Lead OR Sr. Financial Manager, you will work with the leadership team of o9 to develop and maintain a detailed financial forecast model of the business that will be used to drive key strategic decisions related to growth, spending and prioritization. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong analytical capabilities, communication skills, attention to detail, and a curiosity-driven mindset. This is a high visibility role with significant impact in providing critical input to the overall strategic direction and growth strategy of the company. For the right candidate, it is a platform for rapid career development and personal growth. Well suited for business or economics majors with 4-6 years of work experience in investment banking, private equity, or a corporate setting with similar skill requirements.

What you will do...

Interface with CRM system and sales ops to get latest pipeline data to drive model

Interface with business units / finance to develop and maintain expense model assumptions

Develop detailed bottoms up excel forecast model for the business

Ad hoc research/benchmarking/analysis to support FP&A function

Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.

Partner directly with the finance team and business groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.

Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.

Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.

Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

What you will bring...

Education: Bachelor s degree and 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related area

Strong financial planning experience running the monthly, quarterly and yearly planning cycles

Experience: General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles (preferred SaaS and Product companies)

Experience developing financial analysis, reports and metrics

Skills: Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels. Drive accountability and timeliness for assigned responsibilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment

Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture

Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

MBA a plus but not required
