Pride Health is hiring a Skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our client at a medical facility in Providence Village, TX. This is a 13-week contract offering an excellent opportunity to begin working with a leading healthcare organization

Location: Providence Village, TX

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts: Mon–Fri, Day Shift

Hourly Pay: - $20 - $23/hour

Specific Duties:

1. Room and vitalize patients and accurately document data in the patient record

2. Assist provider during exams including administering injections and drawing labs

3. Manage communications effectively both with patients and team members through face-to-face contact, internal messaging systems and through patient portal

4. Process/complete assigned tasks in the EMR from provider to patient

5. Other duties as assigned

6. Help cover in lab when needed

Must have Qualifications/Education / Work Experience/Skills:

• High school/GED or equivalent
• BLS from AHA
• Active RMA/CCMA/CMA Certification.
• Experience giving vaccines
• EMR experience, Nextgen exp preferred
• Strong customer service engagement for both internal and external customers
