Experience:

24 months of Cardiac Clinic experience is required.

3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license prior to placement start.

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel and Local candidates are eligible to apply for this role.

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a teaching facility and recent travel experience preferred.

Parking Paid parking options available on site. MetroRail transportation available if preferred.

No artificial/gel/powder nails are allowed per TCHs policy.

TCH requires any clinician that is or were perm staff to wait 6 months before applying for a traveler position. Please note this timeline may vary slightly because this timeline is based on the units discretion.

Shift Type: Monday - Friday

Shift Hours: 40 hours (645am-315pm) Lunch 30 min.

Must pass EKG exam

Competency in nasal swabbing ( for MRSA and Covid)

Comfortable with calling patients to confirm appointments

Comfortable with phone triage

All nurses in this role must have a minimum of 1 years of ambulatory experience, and a minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience (congenital preferred)

ACH Staff nurses will participate in EKG and POC training with both didactic and on-hands training.

Maximum days off: 10 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Any reference type)
