DSCs play a pivotal role in driving sales through engaging and impactfulinteractions, and business development skills. Whether meeting with homeownersin our stunning showrooms, collaborating with trade professionals in theirdesign studios, or making virtual presentations to support client projects,DSCs showcase their exceptional ability to connect and build lastingrelationships. They are dedicated to cultivating a thriving book of business withboth current and potential clients across assigned territories or businesssegments. Success in this position is measured through achievement of netorder/sales goals, client satisfaction, and overall brand stewardship.

Specific Responsibilities

Relationship & Business Development

  • Develop newrelationships and business for Ann Sacks to meet/exceed salesgoals.
  • Make outside sales callsto develop and grow client base, promoting brand awareness and newproducts.
  • Demonstrate persistenceand tenacity to reactivate dormant accounts, follow up on leads, anddevelop a healthy pipeline of business.
  • Network with theprofessional trade through involvement in associations, meetings andevents; including in-store events.

Customer Service

  • Contribute to aninclusive, welcoming, and gracious work environment for colleagues andclients.
  • Offer prompt, friendly,and gracious service, balancing appointments and walk-in traffic to ensureclient satisfaction and deliver sales results.
  • Maintain an organizedand aesthetically pleasing showroom environment.

Drive & Manage Sales Process

  • Conduct outside salescalls, with a focus on targeted top-selling and high-potential accounts,marketing new and featured products.
  • Leverage Salesforce tomanage customer relationships, interactions, leads and opportunities todemonstrate an accurate pipeline.
  • Follow up on leads /quotes regularly to close business, processing paperworkaccurately.
  • Create and executemarketing plans and in-store events.
  • Collaborate withCustomer Care team to track orders and ensure quality service.

Continuous Learning

  • Develop detailedknowledge of all product lines and features, utilizing internal resourcesand peer network to establish expertise.
  • Participate in internaltraining sessions and online learning to enhance product knowledge, andjob skills such as presenting, negotiating, and closing sales.

Skills/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2years' sales experience required. Strong preference given to priorexperience in interior or architectural design or luxury retail sales.
  • Education: Coursework,certificate or degree in interior design, business management, ormarketing is preferred but not required. Candidates with a variety ofeducational backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply.
  • Software: Experiencewith Windows operating systems and intermediate skills with MS Officesuite are required. Experience with Salesforce or a CRM program is highlypreferred.
