Job Description

As an organizational and process guru, the Administrative Assistant will set the pace for efficiency at the Distribution Center. Providing high level administrative support to the Distribution Center Manager, this role will be essential to day-to-day operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist manager in daily scheduling of deliveries and shipments. Assist manager in monitoring, evaluating and replacing inventory. Interact with customers on a daily basis via phone, email, and face-to face. Process invoices and review various accounting files and records. Prepare special and standard reports. Perform general clerical work such as data entry and maintenance, filing, ordering supplies, answering phones, etc. Word processing and extensive use of Excel spreadsheets. Maintain personnel and customer files. Cross-train with other roles and/or departments. Maintain billing information by tracking and processing customer payments.
