Job Title: Pediatrician (Part-Time, Afternoons/Evenings)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Choice of 1:00 PM–8:00 PM or 4:00 PM–8:00 PM

Our client is a well-established, multi-location pediatric group dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to children of all ages. The office is a high-volume location with a strong patient base and a collaborative, supportive team environment. We are currently expanding our provider team to meet growing patient demand during late afternoon and evening hours.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician (MD only) to join our team in a part-time or full-time capacity starting in early fall. This outpatient-only role focuses on well visits, sick visits, and follow-up care during peak afternoon/evening hours. It's ideal for a physician looking for a flexible schedule, limited call, and no hospital responsibilities.

Schedule Options (Choose One):

• Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Key Highlights:

• Outpatient-only practice with no hospital rounds
• Shared late shifts with flexibility in start times
• Saturday morning coverage required just once every 3–4 months
• Call coverage is minimal: one week per year, limited to after-visit concerns or abnormal labs
• Team-based care model with experienced midlevel support (one PNP or FNP per two MDs)

Duties:

• Provide pediatric care including wellness checks, sick visits, immunizations, and screenings
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using EMR
• Communicate clearly with families and support preventive health education

Requirements:

• MD from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active and unrestricted state medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA certification
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
