Our client, a leading General Contractor with a strong presence across K-12, Religious, Higher Education, and Healthcare projects, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team in Houston. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career while gaining exposure to high-value, ground-up commercial projects.

*Experience in multi-family or residential will not be considered*

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to the Project Manager and Superintendent throughout all phases of construction.
• Assist with scheduling, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Gain hands-on experience to progress into Project Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction.
• Strong tenure with previous employers – career stability is essential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
