Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse. This role involves receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for production or shipment using tools such as Oracle and forklifts. Candidates should have prior warehouse experience, a strong focus on health, safety, and quality, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting to 35 lbs. Forklift certification and Oracle experience are strongly preferred. Job Description The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and quality execution of all required tasks in their area. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos Ability to apply concepts of basic math Receiving inbound material from outside suppliers, customers, and other Client plants and field locations, using forklift and pallet stackers Receiving and processing orders using administrative software tools (ORACLE) Stocking received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production. Picking materials, components, and end products and delivering them to Production or shipping. Performing the cycle counts when needed. Preparing orders and materials to ship to customers or vendors Performing ad-hoc warehouse duties as required to support the business Ensuring high standards of HSE are maintained The above statements are intended to describe the essential functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job. They are not intended as an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities, and requirements Skills Required Stock taking Ability to read instructions, manual handling, loading and unloading of materials Processing orders whilst using a software tool (Oracle), forklift operations Fluent in English The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs Have a forklift license (previously or currently) and pallet stacker experience Ability to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse (preferred) Oracle experience (strongly preferred) Have a good quality and HSE mindset approaching processes and procedures in a warehouse environment Have a Health and Safety driven mindset and practical, pragmatic approach to hands on problem solving Education/Training/Certifications No Education Required Additional Requirements Eligible to work in the US, holding a US passport/work permit with no requirement for future sponsorship Valid forklift license Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. Must be able to work some weekends Pay Rate/Salary $23.00/hr.
