Reporting to the User Support Manager, the Lead IT Technical Analyst will take ownership of user-facing technology systems and the backend infrastructure that supports those technologies within the company. This role will function as a day-to-day leader within the IT support team, providing technical expertise, mentorship, and guidance while ensuring the efficiency and reliability of IT operations. The Lead IT Technical Analyst will be expected to work independently, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and take a proactive approach in identifying and resolving technical challenges.


The primary responsibilities include managing user tickets, supporting telecom and video conference systems, imaging and deploying computers, and engineering network, Azure, and other key systems. Additional duties involve onboarding new users, archiving terminated user data, optimizing IT processes, and leading initiatives to enhance IT service delivery. The role also serves as an escalation point for complex issues, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures IT services meet business needs.


Further responsibilities may include leading user training, performing advanced troubleshooting, maintaining IT equipment storage, evaluating new systems, and promoting cybersecurity and IT governance best practices.


Ideal candidates will have extensive IT support and engineering experience, a deep understanding of end-user environments, and proven leadership skills. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and project management abilities are essential. The candidate should demonstrate operational excellence and a proactive approach to IT service improvements.


Qualifications


Education and Experience



  • 5+ years in IT support, desktop support, or related roles

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications are strongly preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Characteristics



  • Expertise in MS Windows and enterprise IT environments

  • Experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution

  • Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Entra ID

  • Understanding of collaboration systems (email, Teams, SharePoint, video conferencing)

  • Ability to prioritize and triage requests

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities

  • Proactive and autonomous work style


Work Environment



  • Fast-paced environment with diverse responsibilities

  • Hybrid work schedule: remote on Monday and Friday, in-office Tuesday-Thursday

  • Indoor office work with occasional physical tasks
