Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer II to join a high-performing development team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, migrating, and supporting full-stack web applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in .NET development, Angular, and Azure Cloud technologies. The candidate must also have experience implementing clean code practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and develop full-stack web applications using .NET (Core and Framework), C#, Angular, and SQL Server.
Participate in migration of existing .NET web applications to Azure Cloud.
Implement complex application functionality, including SSO authentication, data modeling, and integration with external systems (e.g., DocuSign, FileNet).
Conduct code reviews, write unit tests using mocking tools, and adhere to TDD practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements analysis, testing, and deployment.
Prepare and manage the technical components of project plans.
Participate in user acceptance testing and debugging of applications.
Promote and follow clean coding practices and SOLID principles.
Script and support CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Work independently and lead small project teams when needed.
Provide mentorship to junior developers.
Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams.
Maintain and troubleshoot supported applications ensuring operational efficiency.
Recommend and implement process improvements and new technologies.
Represent the development team in internal committees or special projects.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
May provide technical direction to less experienced personnel.
May lead project teams on small to large scope projects.
Education and Experience Required:
Associate degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience ORa combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience including 5 years of application development.
5+ years of .NET framework and C# development.
4 years of .NET Core and C# development.
3 years of Angular development (Angular Prime NG or Kendo UI nice to have).
2 years of experience with Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and Azure Cloud.
2 years of unit testing experience using mocking tools.
1+ years of hands-on DevOps experience including scripting and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in SSO authentication, data modeling, and clean coding practices.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with DocuSign and FileNet integrations.
Prior experience refactoring legacy .NET applications for Azure Cloud.
Familiarity with ASP.NET WebForms.
Strong understanding of business processes in a financial or regulated environment.
Experience with project management tools and agile methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000/yr to $140,000/yr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
