Position Title: Java IBM DataPower

Location: Houston, TX/Onsite

Job Summary –

We are looking for Java Full Stack developer (Java + Angular) with 10+ Years with experience in Java microservices background in web technologies like RESTful APIs, Spring boot based microservices development Experience with services like AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, SQS , SNS, AWS Lambda) and Web development, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Responsive Design, and expertise in any of the web development frameworks like Angular, ReactJS, VueJS etc.

Skills required in the Order:

Primary: IBM DataPower

Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills:

• Strong Experience with Spring Java, proficient in JEE applications
• Proficient in Angular / React JS.
• Hands on Experience MS SQL / Oracle
• Hands on working Experience with Microservices, Microsites and cloud native development
• Good to have experience on Designing, developing, and implementing services using IBM DataPower, including XML Firewalls, Web Service Proxies, and Multi-Protocol Gateways.
• Good to have Hands-on experience on Implementing security policies, configuring SSL/TLS connections, and ensuring secure data exchange
• Good to have working experience in Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing DataPower service.
• Good to have working experience in Integrating DataPower with other systems and applications, including IBM MQ, Kafka, and various data formats.
• Familiarity with JSON to XML, XML to JSON, and JSON to SOAP transformations using XSLT's
• Creating XML schema, JSON schema and development using XSLT and WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) and configuration using DataPower
• Knowledgeable in creation of XSLT, XSD & WSDL
• Understanding of DataPower services like multi-protocol gateways, web service proxies, firewalls
• Should have working experience in Diagnosing and resolving issues related to DataPower services and configurations.
• Experience in coordination of technical resources
• Good to have strong proficiency in Perl programming, including syntax, data structures, and common libraries. Designing, developing, and testing software applications using Perl.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security are a must.
• Hands on working experience of service-oriented architectures and RESTful APIs is a must
• Experience in JUnit Test Cases
• Experience with services like AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, SQS , SNS, AWS Lambda) and API Gateway is preferred.
• Working in Web development, JavaScript, jQuery and expertise in any of the web development frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS etc.
• Strong foundation in scripting languages such as Perl, and Shell
• Knowledge of Web design patterns and front-end technologies like HTML5, jQuery and MVC framework like spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and scaling web services and applications
• Excellent technical design and development skills
• Deep knowledge of the contemporary Java ecosystem, tooling, and best practices.
• Deliver high level designs for the to be system
• Experience in Insurance domain

Qualification:

• Somebody who has at least 10+ years of work experience in software development.
• Education qualification: Any degree from a reputed college
